How to Make a Facebook Fan Worth Twice As Much

Getting more for less is always a good thing.
Advertising on Facebook can be made twice as profitable when we look to gain additional information from our fans so we can build a deeper relationship.
Before we get into some of the details a word of caution when advertising on Facebook:
"For 99% of businesses advertising on Facebook should be targeted toward generating additional sales. Branding should be a secondary consideration and only considered a bonus."
To make this process as easy as possible today I am going to section of today's message in steps. Following the steps in order will guide you to success faster than say starting at the end and working your way backwards.
Step 1: Guiding the Facebook user to Start The Relationship with You
The first step in getting 2X the value out of a Facebook user is to make it obvious what you would like them to do. For example when a user arrives at your Facebook Fan Page is it obvious what you are asking them to do? They need to have one clear path. We believe that they should click "like" to start the relationship with you. Avoid trying to get them to Click "like" and then do something else in the same instant. Keep it simple and walk them through what you would like.
Step 2: Make the Facebook user an Offer They Can't Refuse
Just like the Godfather said "make them an offer they can't refuse". After they click "Like" immediately switch the Facebook user to an offer they can't say no to. Offer them a coupon, report, software, or "system" that they can only get by providing you additional information. The additional information you request should be their name and e-mail at a minimum. Avoid asking for too much information as it will lower your conversion rate.
Step 3: Build a Relationship That Leads Towards The Sale
The #1 mistake that businesses make on Facebook is only sending messages to generate sales. The goal is more sales however getting there requires a balance of messages. The messages (e-mail & updates) to your Facebook fans should both build rapport and guide them to purchasing with your company. You don't need to overdue the rapport however avoiding it altogether is a sure fire way to kill your business on Facebook.
By focusing on the above 3 steps you will be able to get 2X the value out of your fans. You will end up with more information, more sales, and healthy base of raving fans! We invite you to double your sales through our Facebook Marketing course today!
